Is anyone interested in collaborating on a panel about how their teaching changed in response to the pandemic?

In the last year and a half, I have watched as the students enrolled in my all-online, asynchronous seven-week courses, enter those courses weary and wary. Expecting as one observed, another round of "quizzes, discussions, and a paper," they found an experience focused on a personalized, depth not breadth, subject focus and a writing requirement that combines foundational history writing skills and a public facing career competency opportunity. Instead of a paper, each student as volunteer "contract historian," researches and creates an infographic on behalf on a museum. The students are engaged, excited, and leave the course more aware of how their skills "translate" into professional resume language. If you might be interested, please email me at If you would prefer to speak by phone or Zoom, we can set that up too.
